Do you have an effective way of dealing with stress that involves steps? Describe your process for relieving stress.

Nowadays, stress is overflowing in our life. It may come from society, work, or school. Fitting stress can be caused by something positive, but heavy stress is able to danger our health. Therefore, a way of beating stress is very important for us. In my experience, trying to relieve stress by relaxing through exercise is very helpful. When a person wants to reduce stress using an exercise, people can follow a procedure of two main steps enjoying exercise and showering.

First, finding your interesting exercise and enjoying it are important to this technique. For example, jogging is one of my favorite exercises, thus, I don’t think anything and enjoy it when I jogged. If you couldn’t focus on your exercise, and this way would be not success.

Next, Showering can take tire away and get comfort, hence, you have to take a shower when you done an exercise.

In conclusion, many people find themselves trying to cope with stressful situations that occur in everyday life. Although everyone is different and may try a unique way to relive stress, in my experience, going to do exercise when you felt a heavy stress, then you will reduce stress and get relaxing.

where place is the most I want to visit from my classmates’ suggestions

    Good afternoon teacher, I am Ken. Today, I will tell you about where place is the most I want to visit from my classmates’ suggestions. It’s Japan by Terry and Moya suggested. There are four points have been attracted me.

    First, I am very like the Japanese food, especially, Sushi, Ramen and Udon. Because of they are very popular and delicious, and it’s my favorite food.

    Sushi is a Japanese dish that consists of small cakes of cooked rice served with raw fish.

    Ramen and Udon is the Japanese noodle, it cooks with the vegetable, meat and soup.

    Next is place. Terry and Moya introduced Tokyo, Kyoto and Okinawa. Three places have the different view. I had been in Tokyo, Kyoto and Kyusyu with the travel agency, but Okinawa is not visited yet. Japan is a very polite and clean country. When I had arrived in Japan at the first time, the flesh air impressed me. So, I told myself if I could, I would travel in Japan again and again. Actually, Tokyo, Kyoto and Okinawa have a different view, Tokyo is the city view, Kyoto is the country view, but Okinawa is the small island of Japan. Swimming, diving, fishing and much more water activities is over there. So, I think Okinawa should give a whole new and different experience’s Japan to me.

    Third is language. I am learning Japanese now, but I don’t talk with any Japanese. Therefore, if I could travel in Japan, I would talk to local in Japanese.

    Final is short distance. I don’t like a long flight. It’s very uncomfortable to me, because, I have to sit onto a narrow chair, and watching movies, listening music or sleeping in the airplane for several hours. However, from Taiwan to Okinawa, the flight is just about 1 hour.

    In conclusion, food, view, language and short distance supported me to choose Japan on my next travel schedule. And, I also want to thank my classmates Terry and Moya to present us a nice place and their experience.

2010 new year’s resolution

Time flying, it will entry 2010. In this year, my new year’s resolution is able to improve my English ability. There are four strategies into my plan. First, advance listening ability. When I drove a car and I must to turn on the radio on the ICRT. Next, enhance speaking ability. I have to try to talk with foreigners or to recite articles. Third, increase reading ability, I will log on the BBC website to read some news and memorize more vocabularies. Finally, improve writing ability, running write about anything into my English blog. Certainly, I will make a checking list to review my procedure for achieving my 2010 the year’s resolution.

Good afternoon teacher, I am Ken. Today, Roy and I will introduce the Alishan National Scenic Area to you.

Why we chose the Alishan to present?

The reason is the wonderful nature view.

We have divided this presentation into three parts.

First, I will tell you about where the Alishan is and what features the Alishan has. Then, Roy will talk about his experience and final conclusion.

Introduction

Where is the Alishan?

The Alishan National Scenic Area is located in the mountains of Chiayi County in Taiwan.

There are four beautiful nature views and one special view in the Alishan.

First one is the sunrise,

Next one is the sunset,

Third one is clouds,

Forth one is the divine tree,

Final one is the alpine train, it is unique in Taiwan. If you want to take this train, you must go to the Alishan.

Pushing my limit

In my opinion, everyone has had a lot of experiences of challenge in life. That would be in study, job, relationship or activity. Certainly, I also have had a lot, but, today, I want to tell you the nearest experience, that is going to the Lunghwa University learning languages. The reason is, my English and Japanese are not well for a long time, but I really hope I can listen, speak, read, and write English and Japanese very well in the future. Therefore, I have gone to the Lunghwa University  to enhance my languages. Actually, this decision is a very big challenge for me, because, all of teachers, they almost speak English in class, and I have to give them a lot of reports and presentations in English and Japanese. Of cause, this is the Department of Applied Foreign Languages. According to experts, one stage by one stage study should be better than jumping study. However, I chose a jumping study. So, I need to spend more times and more energies on studying. In fact, I don’t have much time, because I have to work on weekday, and I am very busy. Usually, I go home at 9 or 10 p.m. So, I just can use break time to do my homework and studying. It’s not really easy, so many times, I hardly want to give up, but I am not. So far, I am so excited and glad, because I have studied in here for one year half, got a lot of knowledge and skill on language and made many classmates. On the other hand, I have to sincerely thank my teachers, they always teach hard to us. I just can reach my goal.

Antismoking laws

        The second-hand smoke is a harmful to  the non-smoker, but, most smokers who don’t care that if harmed others, they just want to roll on smoking. Therefore, all of governments had been starting to establish antismoking laws for protecting innocents. Although, many smokers against antismoking laws, but I believe that antismoking laws should be established for three reasons.

The first and most important reason to support antismoking laws is that avoiding a second-hand smoke to en-danger non-smokers. According to the Hong Kong Council on Smoking & Health researched, “The victim who is inhaled the second-hand smoke for a long time that getting the lung cancer is higher than smoker.” It’s like indirect homicide, so I believe firmly, the government must enact antismoking laws to protect guiltless victims.

A second reason to support antismoking laws would be decreased smoking effectively. Why are there so many smokers? In my opinion, anyone can easily buy tobacco, and they can arbitrarily smoke at anytime and anywhere. That is main reason which causing smokers rife. Nonetheless, if there were laws to limit age of buying tobacco and area of smoking, that be able to control smoking desire and to reduce smoking.

The final reason to support antismoking laws is about the pollution issue. The researchers reported, “There are tar, ammonia, nicotine, and more than 4,000 kinds of harmful chemical substances and carcinogens from one burning tobacco. In other words, ten tobaccos will be decuple. Actually, nowadays, there are 350,000,000 smoking populations around the world. How terrible! It’s really a big pollution, so administrations should be passed antismoking laws as soon as passable.

To summarize, smoking has been harming the innocent, smoker, and the environment. Accordingly, the governments around the world should quickly establish antismoking laws.

Tell & show about Par-Kour

Good evening everyone, I am Ken. Today, I will take 1 minute to tell you about par-kour. You can see the picture on screen. “Par-kour” is the sport of running through city streets and jumping between buildings. It started from France in 1980, and means “to transcend barrier of training ground”. I think it’s such as Chinese kun fu “輕功”. Nowadays, it has become more popular in China. I hope this presentation can let you know what par-kour is.

What kind of exercise do you enjoy doing?

Jogging is one of my favorite exercises. The reason has 3 points. First one is simple. It’s not need difficult skills. I am just to do running. The second one is low cost. I don’t spend the other money to buy tools. Finally, jogging can easily train my will and hardiness.

What kinds of books do you like?

    There are so many types of books in the world such as astronomy, geography, history, art, psychology etc…, and people were reading on their interested books. Usually, I would like to read three types of books, the language, the history, and the encouraging titles. 

    First of all, the language that can enhance my linguistic ability and take the advantage of lingual ability in my career. The second one is history that can let me know a lot of different nation’s begging and ending stories. Finally, the encouraging titles are able to inspirit me when I was discouraged, and to recover a lot of confidence.

Car and old colleague

Few days ago, I drove to work as usual. When I drove my car up to B1 floor, I heard a strange sound. I knew that car had met a trouble, then, I got off and checked my car. Oh! My God! The right rear door had damaged. I was very depressed to work all day. Last Sunday, I passed my car to garages and borrowed car with Paul, who is my old and friendly colleague. He had left company for two years. Sometimes, I have contacted him to chat. Now, he has a new job and works happily. I have envied him a little bit. In fact, I am working unhappily. There are so many reasons that making me so tired. I always thinking that “Is this job fit me?” However, I didn’t make a decision yet, because making a decision needs a lot of courage and intelligence. I will keep thinking and making a right decision. Finally, I have to thank Paul for borrowed his car to me, I can keep working.

To suggest a good restaurant – 原燒

The 原燒  restaurant is a delicate, clean, and polite barbecue. My wife and I are very like to go to there for dining. It is chain in north, middle, and south of Taiwan. If you want to try it, you can go to the website (http://www.yuanshao.com.tw/something.htm), then choosing the nearest one and reserving a table. Actually, we have went to the原燒 for several times, to celebrate our birthday and wedding, or on special days. I want to suggest it, the reasons have three. First, certainly it’s cuisine. They provide customer one package, salad, soup, meat, rice, drink, and dessert. I am very like the beef, because it’s soft, sweet, and moreish. Next, the decoration is simple, light is sooth, and place is clean. You may not believe that few smoking on there. Finally, waiter and waitress are friendly. They are always smiley and melting to service the customer. In brief, I like the 原燒 restaurant, and hope it will be your favor too.

Last week, I discussed about “what kind of exercise do you enjoy doing” with my classmate in the class. We were very interested in this topic, because we had to explain. Some classmates’ enjoy exercise were jogging, tennis, basketball, swimming, and on water activities etc…. My classmate Gaber, who is humorous, and his idea let me impress. He is very like on water activities, and he said, “The reason was eye candy.” It’s really funny and makes me laugh. On the other hand, my favorite exercise is jogging. The reason has 3 points. First, it’s simple, not need difficult skills, and I just to do running. The second one is low cost. I don’t spend the other money to buy tools. A presentation for Twilight

Two weeks ago, I had done a presentation for Twilight in the public speech class. Twilight is a new, famous, and love navel. It described a young girl to fall in love a handsome vampire story. All of classmates had been separated to several groups, and each group had divided into 4 parts, start, explanation, critic, and conclusion. Jerry Guo, Roy, Gaber, and I were in one group. We were so efficient, because making a decision for the subject, distributing, to practicing, we didn’t spend much time. In fact, I felt good job in our presentation. Finally, I want to share it in my part on my blog.

The second one is guideline. As you all know, we have to make a lot of decisions in life, but how to reach it? To meet a graduation after 7 months

I have returned to school for 7 weeks, there are a few feeling in my heart. I am able to meet my graduation after 7 months. It’s a farewell with my dear teachers and classmates. Of course, I have to treasure every class especially since the first class. I am so joy to learn in my class, because all of classmates are friendly and studying hard, everyone wants to enhance self language. On the other hand, most of teachers are kindly and teaching hard, they give us skills which listening, speaking, reading, and writing. I have learnt a lot of linguistic knowledge English and Japanese for one year half. I really want to loudly say “I am very like my class so much”. However, the university life remains for 7 months only, so, I have to study hard more and more. Finally, I hope everyone could be to treasure the aftermost time, to be friends, and to keep contacting each other after graduated. Finally, I need to add “Yes, we are the best, cheer!”

New challenge

Today, I made a decision, which has started to write blog in Japanese. The reason is for improving my Japanese ability. I know that is a very great challenge for me, however, I want to enhance my English and Japanese abilities. On this way, I hope I could push myself to learn it to better. Why did I have this idea? Because I know my Japanese has not progress until now, and I have wrote blog in English for fifty piece of writing. I felt that is effective. So, I want to write something in Japanese on my blog for enhancing my Japanese ability. By the way, why did I like to learn Japanese? About eight years ago, I have begun to watch the Japanese TV program, and I saw that Japanese were very polite, and their country is very clean. Therefore, I have been attracted by that, and I started to learn Japanese. I ever got a level 3 of the Japanese-language proficiency test on 2001 year. Now, I want to challenge a high level test, so, I have to make a good preparation for reaching it.

Dream and brave

Everyone have some dreams to do, but how to reach it? Sometime you will be confined by some things than give up your dream. For example, you have planned a travel, but met a terrible H1M1 over the world, so you will give up it. However, some one is able to overcome all of difficult position and pursue their wish. I think it needs a great brave and an adventure spirit. Recently, one of my colleagues, who is a brave girl, she done a separation for her dream, which go to Iceland and experience life style there for three months. I am very admiring her, because she can give up her job and pursue her wish. She told me that needs a great brave. She thought it for a long term than made this decision. She also told; some dreams have need specific age could be finished. I think I also have many dreams, which didn’t finish yet. So, I hope I can have my colleague’s brave to catch my wish.

Swimming

Last weekend was my latest weekend in the summer vocation. For three month, I went to pool to learn swimming with my wife on every weekend. I really want to have a skill of swimming, because it is a nice exercise, you can get a powerful breathing capacity from this sport. The other reason is the temperature. The weather is more and more heat in the summer, so when you felt hot, you can go to pool to swim than you will feel better. Now, I seem to know how to swim, but I can not to change breath in the water. It is very important for a long swimming. Basically, there are four methods of swimming butterfly, backstroke, breaststroke, and freestyle. Now, I was learning breaststroke, and I hope I can swim one way on one time, but I don’t have much time to practice, because this weekend I have go back school to study my English. If I have idle time, I will keep go to pool to learn swimming.

Tom had a beautiful clothe, house, and nice food, but he wanted to go back and played with the other boys and swan in the river.

Hugo said a lie which to find Miles to Edward, actually, he brought him to meet John Canty. Then, they went out to get money and food. Hugo stole a hen from a woman and transferred to Edward, then, said Edward was a thief. Finally, Miles appeared and saved Edward.

Chapter11. Hendon Hall
Miles and Edward went to Miles’ home, but his brother Arthur did not let him going home. Arthur stole his home, land, and now he wanted to steal Lady Edith, who was to be his wife. So, Angry Miles threw Arthur to the floor, but servants carried Miles and Edward away to the prison.

Chapter12. Prison
Miles and Edward were in the prison, and Edward met Basil, who used to work in the garden when his father was alive. Then, Basil made them free, and they set out to go to London.

Edward wrote a letter to Tom and went to Westminster Palace to see him. Sir Humphrey Marlow helped them to see Tom. Finally, Edward returned a king.

Edward was a very good king because he had been among the people and he had learnt how they lived and what they need. And, Sir Miles got his home and his land again and married Lady Edith. And, Tom lived in the palace and was the king’s best friend and he gave his mother and two sisters a very nice house in the country. Then, John Canty was never seen again.

8. Comments
In my opinion, the prince and the pauper both were very different status. The author Mark Twain used two roles to describe the nobles and the commoner’s life, and he let two roles to change status each other for knew completely different life. Finally, Tom still was like a free life, and the prince Edward had been among the people and he had learnt how they lived and what they need, then be a very good king. Nowadays, if every officer can be Edward, who know what suffering people have and give them a hand. I think our country will be better.

How did I manage my money?

In my opinion, I have divided my salary into 5 parts. First, 20% of money would be saved into bank for rain days. Second, I will take 20% of money to buy shares and funds to increase my money. Of cause, that has invested risk which brought you more money or decreased your money. So, you have to study more knowledge about investment before you want to do it. Third, I will take 10% of money to give my parents for their life. And, 10% of money is for my life. Finally, 40% of money is for my house and car’s load. About the last part, I would like to describe clearly. Every one would like to have something, as house, car, or travel. So, when you have a wish, you can plan a schedule which how long you want to get it. Then you will know you have to take how much money to save on every month for reached your dream. Now, I have finished my first dream of marriage. And my car’s load will be closed, but I have to pay the house’s load for eighteen years.

The second semester’s grade

Few days ago, my dear classmate Belinda told us, our grade has came out on our school’s website. Then, I checked my grade, and surprised it. I’m very happy, because it was better than previous semester’s grade. I thought this grade was a leapfrogging. Most class’ grades have risen. First of all, I want to thanks all of my professors who teaches hard to us. Second, I want to appreciate my classmate who always encourages and helps each other. Finally, I want to say “good job” to myself. However, I know, the grade was not absolute, and I still have a lot of problems to be resolved in my English. So, I have to more and more study hard, and conquer my weakness in English. Now, I want to give all of my dear classmates a sentence to finish this article, “We are the best, keep working”.

What did I do in the first weekend of nearly summer vacation?

What did I do in the first weekend of summer vacation? I decided to go to the movies, because I didn’t watch movies for a long time, and I was able to write my thinking about the movie into my blog. My wife chose a movie of Transformers. After we watched it, we felt it’s not better than have been expected. Because of the major evil leader died too quickly and easily. We expected it, has an exciting fight, but no excited plot and no gorgeous scene. However, it has some humorous parts, viewer felt that funny. In my opinion, Transformers 2 movie is not better than Transformers 1 movie. After watched movie, we went to a restaurant Mr. Onion ( http://www.cafeonion.com/index.htm ) for dinner. It is a nice restaurant, because many people go to there for meal. We didn’t reserve, so we waited about 20 minutes. After, I ate one set of pasta, and my wife ate one set of fired rice. We enjoyed this rare weekend very much. Finally, if you liked pasta too, I suggest it to you, it’s a good restaurant.

Summer vacation has been started, then, homework is, too.

Summer vacation, I haven’t heard this vocation in my life for a long term. Maybe it had ten years or more long. I did not remember how my last summer vacation was? Now, I have a bit expected it to come, because I just want to take few time to rest on weekend. But, my professor Mr. Guo, who never forgets to give us some homework in summer vacation. I know his purpose that is good for us. So, I have to write my homework quickly, because I heard another professor who would like to give us homework, too. I really wouldn’t like to write all homework in the end of summer vacation. In my strategy, first, quickly writes down ten pieces of article into my blog. Second, quietly waits the next homework to come. I wish it could remnant few time to me when I have finished that. Because my wife has began to plan a trip. I really wouldn’t like worrying about my homework when I was trip.

A happy party

We had done our final exam on yesterday. Then, we also had had lunch in the Hinjhuang International Banquet Hall. It’s a nice restaurant, especially, the KTV equipment. Our classmates and professors joined this party. Moreover, Snow and Peggy were invited to come here. Everyone seems very happy because final exam had finished. We was eating, dancing, and singing. In fact, this was my first time to see my classmates were so excited and glad since I came to Lunghwa University. Our professor Mr. Kuo has ever said “We are his pride”. I agree it, because my classmates were not only study hard but also excellence. We have given up weekends and came here for advanced our English skill, I think that really needs a great decision and hardy willpower. However, we also need excellence professor who inspires us wisdom, and we can keep study and get more knowledge. That is why we have passed here for one year. Finally, I would give my dear classmates “I wish our friendship, would be forever”.

Reach a goal

Where there is a will, there is a way. No.40 article was finished at morning May 31. Now, I felt very happy and tired. Just like a runner has ran to destination on a marathon game. That is a game of long time. Before you completed it, you have to need an endurance and willpower. Before today, I am afraid I can not finish it on time, but when I made a decision and do it right now, and it has been completed. So, I think a proverb is very important for everyone and I want to share it to everyone in here. That is “Where there is a will, there is a way”

This was my homework about “A Person Who Has Made a Difference: Mr. Wang Yung-Ching”, and I want to record into my blog.

Mr. Wang Yung-ching was an influential entrepreneur who founded a large business empire in Taiwan. He helped our country in three ways. First he created Nan Ya Plastics Corporation, Formosa Chemistry & Fibre Corporation, and Cyma Plywood & Lumber Co. Ltd. It was to provide people a lot of jobs. Second he built seven hospitals in Keelung, Taipei, Linkou, Taoyuan, Chiayi, Kaohsiung and Fongshan. It was to cultivate many ace doctors and helped people to cure their disease. All of hospitals are named the Chang Gung Memorial Hospital. Third he built two schools. One is Ming-chi Institute of Technology and the other one is Chang Gung University. It was to created many talents of different area to make Taiwan more competitive. Mr. Wang Yung-ching just a simple, uneducated businessman, but he helped his country a lot.

Will you have children when you get older?

Sure, I want to won a mine family, so, I want to have children. Basically, a family should have a father, a mother, and children, but nowadays, many people do not want to have children, who felt many troubles children. So, they would rather to live easy. In my opinion, I think children may bring us a lot of perturbation and need to spend much time to care for them, but sometimes, they also bring us happy.

Is it ever impolite to talk on a cellular phone? When?

Sometimes it is definitely impolite. I think a lot of people are very inconsiderate when they talk on their cellular phones, For example, On MRT or bus, maybe someone have take a rest, then you will affect them. In the movie theater, you will affect many people to watch movie. In a meeting, if someone is reporting, when you cell phone is ring, then you will interrupt the meeting. I think that is common sense, but that often has been happened in our life.

When was the last time you ate Japanese food?

The last time I ate Japanese food was six months ago. That’s my deportment dinner. We want to the SHINYEH restaurant in Shin Kong Mitsukoshi department store. It is a buffet and there are a lot of Japanese food, Sushi, Sashimi, beef, drink, fruit, and dessert. Everyone can free eat and drink. I think it is a good restaurant. So, if you like Japanese food too, I suggested you can go there to eat.

Have you ever felt really embarrassed?

Of course, everybody has felt embarrassed. I remember on time when I was a child and went to school. We had to go to library for read books. We need to take out shoes before entry inside of library. When I took my shoes out, then I and my classmate saw my hose had broken a hole, they laughed at me. So, I had felt embarrassed at that time. Now, I will check the hose, which has broken, before I wear.

Would you like to be famous? Why or why not?

No, I really do not see that being famous would be so nice. In fact, the famous people have not more freedom and private life than the common people. In other way, they may worry to face crazy fans or kidnapping. Certainly, the famous people will be rich, everybody love you, and people will follow your example, but compare with both of them, I think the famous people would be not easy, so I would not like to be famous.

Do you prefer Chinese food or Western food?

I prefer Chinese food. In Taiwan, we can eat many kinds of cuisine. There are Taiwanese cuisine, Hakka cuisine, Cantonese cuisine, and Sichuan cuisine. They have different characters and variety. For example, Taiwanese cuisine is moderate, Hakka cuisine is sour, Cantonese cuisine is tonic, and Sichuan cuisine is hot. I had been America, and UK, and ate there cuisines. There have hamburger, sandwiches, pizza, pasta, and steak. I felt that is simple than Chinese food. Especially, in Taiwan, there have many snacks, as stinky tofu, Taiwanese meatballs, oyster omelet, tempura, and etc…. So, if you asked me which one do you prefer Chinese food or Western food? Certainly, I have to choose the Chinese cuisine.

Some people say they never have enough time. What do you think?

I do not think so before I went to Lunghwa University, because I have enough time to use. But, now, I believe some people who say never have enough time. I often have had overtime in my job for weekday, and right now I have to go to school for learning English on weekend. In fact, I really not have much time to do others. Sometimes, I need to decrease my sleep time to do my homework or prepare for some testing. So, I have believed some people who say never have enough time to use.

New milestone

This article has come to No.31 and finished this homework till I had to write 9 piece of writing, but I really do not have much time to reach it. My teacher' gave us a deadline May 31. Today has been May 31, that means I only have 24 hours to finish it. Oh, my god, I think it’s a difficult mission and great challenge, but I believe “Where there is a will, there is a way”. So, I must speed up to write right now for final 9 articles.

What is something you want to learn how to do?

What do I want to learn how to do? Now, I want to learn how to play the golf, because some of my friends and colleagues have played the golf recently. Sometimes they discussed the golf and asked me to play it. So, I had learned about golf club before I bought it. Basically, there are six types of golf club Driver, Fairway Wood, Hybrid, Iron Set, Wedge, and Putter. Each type is used to different place. My friend and colleague told me a beginner just bought Iron Set No.7 and a tee to practice. I had bought it and practice it. I hope I can have a good skill of golf.

What would you do if you won the lottery?

Every one wants to win the lottery, but if I won the lottery what I want to do? First, I will share some money to my family and charities. Then, I will save some money to bank for a rain day. Next, I will round the world to see many different and beautiful views and taste delicious food in each country. Finally, I am going to buy a farm, and to live a simple life. However, all of things are a dream. Only if lady luck comes with me.

Soccer is most popular sport in the world. Why isn’t it more popular in Taiwan?

Why is not soccer more popular in Taiwan? In my opinion, it has two reasons. One, we do not have enough hardware and software. For example, we just have few formal soccer park and we lack excellent coach and player. In Europe, they have many soccer park and they have a lot of excellent coach and player, as Furguson and Bechkham, etc…. Two, our government is not really promote this sport and they do not stage any formal game, but, in other countries, they will stage some games for soccer. So, that is why the soccer not popular in Taiwan.

What should you do when you have a clod?

What should I do when I had a clod? First, I will drink a lot of warm water. Then, I will eat some Vitamin B & C to increase my immunity. If my cold was bad then I will o to a doctor and get a lot of rest. Doctor usually will give me an injection and some pills. Basically, I take bills for 3 or 5 days then my clod will away. By the way, If I want to go to outside, I will wear a mask, because I do not want to spread influenza to others. I think that is politesse and importance.

How could you improve your English?

Basically, my English is not well, so I always looking for a way be able to improve my English. I have got a lot of ways to enhance it since I went to LUNGHWA University. My teachers taught us many things. For example, to writing some thing in English on blog to increase our written ability, to do a “tell and show” to enhance our specking and listening, or reading many different articles. Of course, I think keeping study is important than any good way. So, if you really want to improve your English, you would be studying it everyday, even it has few hours or minutes.

The Dragon Boat Festival in 2009

Yesterday was the Dragon Boat Festival, according to traditional custom, people have to worship ancestor, row the Dragon Boat, and eat rice dumping. This festival is for memorial Qu Yuan. To follow this custom, I and my wife got up early at morning to prepare for worshiped my ancestor, after, we went to Keelung had lunch and dinner with my family. I did not have a meal with my family, since Chinese New Year this year. I felt glad, because I did not have much time see them. I have to work on weekday, and go to school to study on every weekend. Once I get together with my family, I will treasure it. I got home at 22 o’clock, but I have not finished my writing homework yet, so today, I have to finish 16 piece of writing.

Which season of the year do you like the best?

I think I like fall the best-because of the weather. The temperature is brisk and comfortable in fall. The nature view has been changed, as maples turned red. In Taiwan, you can to go to Aowanda to see that a beautiful view. In this season, the hot sprint is a good choice. Taiwan has a lot of different hot sprint. In Taipei you can go to Beitou and Jin Mountain to soak in hot sprint. I think you will very enjoy it.

[Home work] Comparison paragraphs: Studying abroad / Studying in our own country

Here was my homework of writing. Studying aboard and studying in our own country are really different ways.One different is cost. Studying aboard has to spend a lot of money than studying in our country. You must pay a precious school fee, rent and keep, but studying onshore, anything is cheep. A second area of different is life style. When you decide to go to oversea for study, you will start to take care yourself and adapt new a culture and custom, in contrast, stay here, you do not change anything. Finally, the major different is teaching way. In foreign school, it is more open and free than here. The teacher who leads students to know and discuss any questions, instead, in our country school, the teacher who teaching purpose was just for students can enter a higher school. All in all, thought there are differences between studying aboard and onshore, if you really want to study well, you have to choose studying abroad, and you have to start to save money.

In my opinion,
I would like you to look at this graph, which shows the death toll of Swine Flu in Mexico over the past 7 days. As you can see here, death toll fluctuated between 2 and 91 from 4/25 to 5/1, death toll has rose sharply on 4/17, 4/29 and 4/30, but it also become slowly and reached to 91 on 5/1.

In my teacher’s opinion,
Let’s take a look at the ling graph. The death toll of Swine Flu in Mexico was on 25th April. It rose slightly to 7 on next day on the following 3 days, the death toll increase dramatically from 7 to 80……

This pie chart shows the number of confirmed of Swine Flu cases that 80% of Swine Flu cases in America, The second biggest area is Europe with a total of 10%. Next, Asia has 5% of cases. Finally 5% of cases are in the other area.

In teacher’s opinion,

Good morning everyone, I am Ken.

Today I would like to introduce the “PDA” to you.

What is PDA?
PDA is meaning “Personal Digital Assistant”.

You can see, it is very light, thin and multi-function.

It’s only 141 gram, 1.33 centimeter and many practical functions.

And it has audio recorder, MP3 player, MP4 player, photo frame, calculator, Word, Excel, GPS, dictionary and a lot of other functions, just all in one.

Now, let me show some features to you.

Use it is very easily, you just do touch and touch.

First, if you want to listen to music, you just do touch.

Then, if you want to watch movie or photo, you also do touch.

Finally, when you lost, you can use GPS, and it will bring you to right road.

My PDA has not included GPS module, so, I only show a simulate drive to you.

For example, when you want to go to The National Palace Museum but you did not know how to driver to there.

You just write National Palace Museum in your PDA and it will plan a route, then you will know how to go. 

Of course, nowadays, PDA has became more convenient, more function, and more interesting.

It has included phone module, wireless module, and PGS module.

Jerry: Ken, do you think how has Taiwan changed recently?

Ken: Taiwan has changed in many ways. I think it’s become more modern.
 In Taipei and Kaoshiung, we have the MRT and high speed rail. That makes traffic a lot better. And in Taipei there are several big shopping centers. You can shop with no problem.

Jerry: I think so, but do you think what can people do to make Taiwan better?

Ken: There’s a lot that people can do. We don’t throw things on the sidewalk. We have to start putting our trash in the trashcan. When we drive a car can be keep the rule of the road.

The culture of night market in Taiwan

This was my report about the culture of night market in Taiwan on last year, and I want to record into my blog.

Today I will talk about night market in Taiwan.

Taiwanese night market is how to come?
From internet information, the first nigh market is from Tataocheng (大稻埕),Taipei.
It beginning from a few vendors and only provided some traditional snacks to people eat, like plain noodles, braised pork rice, oyster omelet, stinky tofu, etc…

Changeover
Nowadays, in Taiwan, night market has 3 kinds of type and become more colorful.

1. Shopping mall of the night market: 
Shopping mall of the night market is often in metropolitan area.
Business extends open time till midnight, and it also attracts some vendors on here to become a shopping mall of the night market.
The famous night market has Shida Night Market and Jing Mei Night Market in Taipei.

2. Tourism of the night market:
Shopping mall of the night markets is designed and planned by government, and in line with local characteristics to attract tourists, it was called tourism of the night market.
The famous night market has Huaxi Street Tourist Night Market and Rao He Street Night Market in Taipei.

3. Flow of the night market:
Flow of the night market is often in suburban open space.
They open in a specified date, as every Wednesday or Friday evening.

Foods
We have keeping our traditional food and ameliorate it, even adoption foreign foods and assimilation it.

Finally, I will suggest you, when you travel to Taiwan.
You can go to the local night market and taste local snacks or have an accidental discovery.

A typical day of my job

This was my report about a typical day of my job, and I want to record into my blog

I arrive at the office at about ten then check my emails. They come in overnight because we have offices all over the world. Then I will distribute that to my team members, sometimes I will send emails directly to answer their questions.

In the afternoon I go into my regular meeting whit my team member. He report a result of testing last night to me, and we discuss any problems or issues then provide some ideas to find out what reason is. If we get a reason, we will pass to R&D department and they will debug it then retune us new program to check it be right or not.

I work at my desk most of the day. I speak and email to our sales department and customer service team for their questions about products.

Then I will trace my team member state. When they had problems on testing, I will discuss with them and help them to solve their problems or issues and redefine new schedule of testing.

I get off duty at about nice and that’s my typical day!

Today I want to tell you about my idea of learning English in Loung Hwa University.

Basically, My English is poor so I always felt nervous, depressed and stressed-out when teachers instructed us in English.

Because they spoke English very fast and we had to answer many questions and they gave us a lot of homework or test.

In fact, I almost didn’t understand their questions and couldn’t make an answer.

So, when teachers called someone to make an answer, I always felt nervous.

Every week, I always think “Should I abandon it or not?”

In last week, my teacher told us “what do you want”.

I thought it and told myself “why I came here?”

I just want to improve my English, so that is my want.

Now when I depressed, I will tell myself “just do it” to keep going.

I think that is a very beneficial film, and when I had looked a movie, I thought we need do something for our earth.

Because, we only have one earth, so no earth no man.

One person does not have too much power, but more people certainly have more power and it can change something for help earth.

For example, we can often take public transport, ride bicycle, or drive electric vehicle for decrease emission of carbon dioxide and slow down global warming.

Then, we must stop felling plants on tropical rainforest and grow more plants.

Finally, we really need scientists can quickly develop more pure and safe energy to people use.

About a fraud

This was my report about a fraud on last year, and I want to record into my blog.

Q1.How does the fraud work? What does the con artist do?
I found a case history about healthy fraud from internet.
A con artist pretended an officer of public health bureau and he told an elder, you bought a machine of diathermy in 2004.
Now the city government had a policy for elder, if you were above 70 years old and ever had bought a machine of diathermy, the government will return your money.
Of course, con artist will tell you, you need provide him your bankbook, signet, and a password of withdraw money, after con artist and your money are disappeared.

Who are usually the victims of this type of fraud? How much money do they lose?
In this case, an elder are victim, and he had lost 50000 NT dollars.

How can you protect yourself?
In Taiwan, you can use cell phone call 165 to check if it is a fraud?
Phone number 165 is a telephone of anti-fraud.
And I think people do not cupidity then you will not be a victim.

This was my report about ad on last year, and I want to record into my blog.

Today I will show you a funny ad about a super duster.
This ad is from internet (http://funp.com/t106466#p=106466).

Q1.What emotional appeal(s) is the advertiser using?
The advertiser use emotional appeals are funny and very fustian.
You can see the picture 1, it is a very powerful duster, so a high-altitude hot-air balloon was pulled into inside.
It looks like real, so when you drive through there and see that, maybe you will be sharked then feel funny.
The picture 2 is more grandiose than picture 1, you can see even a satellite from space, it was also pulled into inside.

Q2.Why is advertiser using this appeal to sell this product?
I think the product is duster, so its major ability is attraction, then advertiser base on it, and create an idea to highlight a very powerful attraction for this product.

Q3.Who is the target market?
Of course, the target market is every family, each family have to clean their house, so if you need a good tool for clean, I think it will be a nice choice.

Q4.Do you think this ad is effective? Why or why not?
I think this ad is so effective, because it enforce an ability of product, but in my opinion, if it can explain the noise is low, like “high attraction, low noise”, it will be perfect.

Politeness

This was my report about politeness on last year, and I want to record into my blog.

Hello everybody today I will share my idea about politeness with you.

In the world each country has its politeness.

For example, first, in Taiwan when we eat noodles and we can’t make a noise that is a politeness, I thank it mean it doesn’t bother other people.

But in Japan when you eat noodles and you have to make a loud noise that is a politeness, it means yummy noodles by a chef.

Then, in America when you pay a bill in the restaurant and you have to pay a gratuity, but in Taiwan you don’t do it.

I think different culture has different politeness, so before we want to go any country, we have to study local politeness, then you will be a welcomed visitor.

What is Par-kour

I heard a word “par-kour” on TV tonight, and I did not know what mean is? I went to know it, so, I used Google and checked dictionary to get some information. From dictionary, “Par-kour” is the sport of running through city streets and jumping between buildings. Then from Google, “Par-kour” came from France in 1980, and it means “to transcend barrier of training ground”. Now, Par-kour has become more popular in China and Taiwan. I think it is new and good sport, maybe one day you will see someone to do it on streets.

New milestone!

This article is up to 10th on my blog. It is a new milestone for me. So, I would like write about how to observe a great mother’s day. On last Sunday, we had pre-led it, because few people will busy in my family this Sunday. About a long time, I did not have meal with all of my family since Chinese New Year. We bought a cake and went to a Taiwanese restaurant on Keelung. Many people came to there and we ate a lot of delicious food. So, I thought that is nice restaurant. After we went to home, then ate a cake. Everyone was happy in this day.

Every woman wants a delicate body, but how to do it quickly? There is a hellish reducing that proved to cut 10 pounds in two days. You must say goodbye with chicken, beef, pork, fish, any meat, and never touch a high-calorie food. Water, fruit, and vegetable become your only choice. Finally, if you can keep and properly do it every day, then you can dream come to true.

Cold joke

We discussed about joke in class on last Saturday. I though it was very interesting. First, we listened to a lot of jokes on the CD player. Then each group had to prepare 2 jokes and told to everyone. Some of jokes were not funny at all, but other jokes were funny. Our one of joke had been considered the funniest joke by classmate. But if a man does not do this in life, then his spirit must wander through the world after his death and see the sorrows and joys it can no longer share". The first spirit brought Scrooge to post, and let him knew "that these are the shadows of things that have been. They are what you have made them".

I think that is very important.

The school start after winner vocation (02/22)

This is first article in my blog. I want to write down my feeling about school start after winner vocation.

Yesterday was our first day retuned to school after winner vocation, most classmate have came back school, but some people did not go to the school and some one decided to leave of absence from school. Before today, I also think “Should I Keep or not”?

I have understood that if you want to maintain job and school work at the same time. That really is not easily, because we have many homework and tests to enhance our English skill, but I real do not have much time and stamina to prepare that, so I do not know how to decide?
Finally, I tell myself “Keep going”, if I feel so tired then just rest. (Rest is for keep going)

Change my blog!

That is bed news for me. My MSN's blog had broken from last week. I try to some many times to find it, but it is still not work. Finally, I was feeling so sad and decided to change my blog from MSN to Google, becouse I do not have much time to write my blog for my homework of wrtting. My teacher told us "The deline of our homework is 30.May" and we have to write 40 articals, but I just wrote 5 articals, that is meaning, I have to write latest 2 articals everyday, then I could get goal. So, Now I just write 1 artical and I have 39 articals to write.
